What stays on your phone

Your money data never leaves your phone. This includes your accounts (wallets), transactions, transfers, budgets, categories, notes and settings. It is stored in a database on the device and is not sent to us or anyone else.

If Android backup is turned on for your phone, Android may include this data in your device backup to your Google account, under Google's control. You can turn this off in your phone's settings.

What we collect for your account

To let you sign in, the app creates an account with our sign-in provider, Supabase. It stores:

  • Email address: to sign you in, send verification and password reset codes, and identify your account.
  • Name: shown in the app's settings.
  • Password: stored by Supabase only as a secure hash; we never see it.

This information is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We use it only to run your account. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for tracking. Supabase processes it on our behalf; see Supabase's privacy policy.

Exchange rates

To convert transactions entered in other currencies, the app downloads public exchange rates from ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com) at most once a day. No personal information is sent with this request. Like any website, the service can see your device's IP address.

Ads, analytics and tracking

The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Deleting your account

Data saved on a phone stays there until you delete the account on that phone or uninstall the app.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
